How can each action be a model teaching? I wonder…
I came across a quote in my journal a few weeks ago. It reads: the world becomes what you teach. First, let’s clarify that we are all teachers, whether we recognize it or not. (We are all students too, but this is another wonder.) Recognizing and opening to being a teacher, we see that our actions reflect potential teachings on all subjects. Relating to money and finances, and our integral wealth services, I wonder how we model wealth in our lives, such that our actions teach others healthy money behaviors.
When I hold this view, my conduct with money becomes crucial – no excuses – particularly when the delirious banter about fiscal cliff pervades our field.
So, what are you teaching? Are your actions with money reflective of what you want to be teaching? I wonder…
