Can you identify a purchase that has given you lasting pleasure? I wonder…

Outside my office window birds play and feast year round at our bird-feeders. One bird feeder is over ten years old, at least; the other is newer, maybe five years old. As we contemplate purchases and where we spend money, I am curious about lasting pleasure from spending. From the joy, connection and offering that the bird feeders have generated, the pleasure from this purchase is immeasurable.  There are many items in my life that manifest this same lasting pleasure and truth. And, there are others that do not.

What in your life gives you lasting pleasure? How can you make every purchase count with an intention of lasting pleasure and purpose? I wonder.
